It’s spring. And in schools across neighborhoods everywhere, students are wrapping up projects. This semester @svaixd, Gary Chou and Christina Cacioppo are teaching first-year students Entrepreneurial Design (they’ve even made the syllabus open to all). The final class project: students must raise $1,000.
Projects have taken different forms:
- Projects that introduce a new service, like Coastermatic, a service that allows Instagram users to print their photos on to stone coasters, its corresponding video series, and business lessons (Tash Wong, Tom Harman).
- Projects instigated by something moving, like this Kickstarter project “A Very Graphic Poster.” (Barbara deWilde)
- Projects that teach a lesson, like this Skillshare class “Learning HTML through the lens of Typography” and its corresponding lessons learned. (Tony Chu)
- Projects generated from personal stories, like this Kickstarter project The Cheese Map. (Guri Venstad)
Those are just a sample of the many projects. Follow them all on the Entrepreneur Designers blog as they launch and reach their goal. Best of luck to all!
