Dueling bingo

I’ve never been one for tradition. Traditional summer jobs that is. I’ve worked in zoos, swept alpine slides, gone on tour (names withheld, it was the ‘80s), and managed an ice cream shop (there is such a thing as “ice cream-scooper arm,” reminiscent of tennis arm). But the summer job that gets no attention was my job in a Bingo Parlor. It was short-lived — I lasted two chip-filled days — but memorable. I will leave it there.

However:

Tomorrow, I’ll be playing in “Dueling Bingos,” a Bingo tournament to raise money for 826NYC.

I need your help to rig this game in my favor! I am allowed to purchase as many cards, and as many Bingo numbers as I want! You can help me gain the advantage by donating to my game online. All proceeds benefit 826NYC, which is dedicated to supporting students ages 6-18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.

Please help me win this tournament by making a donation today!

My friend Jessi Arrington (@Jessi_Arrington) is playing as well, so send her some bingo bucks and luck as well. Don’t forget to leave a compliment on her getup.
